1. What Cardabra is
Cardabra is a tool for trading-card sellers and collectors: it identifies cards from photos, shows market price estimates, tracks your inventory's value, prints price stickers, and prepares listings and exports for marketplaces. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Cardabra.
2. Market prices — read this one
Market prices shown on Cardabra are sourced from third-party marketplace data (primarily TCGplayer catalogue and pricing data), updated periodically — typically daily — and converted from US dollars to New Zealand dollars using an indicative exchange rate. Every figure you see is an estimate, and it can be wrong: source data can be stale, thin, or erroneous; currency conversion adds drift; and the market for a specific card can move between updates.
We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any price shown on the site, on printed labels, or on scanned sticker pages. Prices are information, not a valuation, an offer, or financial advice. Use them at your own discretion — and if a decision meaningfully affects you (selling a valuable card, pricing a large deal, buying a collection, insurance), double-check the price against the live marketplace and recent completed sales before you act.
Cardabra is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, TCGplayer, The Pokémon Company, Trade Me, Shopify, eBay, or PSA. Their names and marks belong to their owners.
3. Your prices are yours
Sticker prices, listing prices, sold prices, and any custom overrides are set by you, even when they start from our market estimate. You are responsible for the prices you print, advertise, and sell at, and for meeting your own obligations under New Zealand's consumer and fair-trading law when you sell to others.
4. Your account and content
Keep your sign-in to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your account. The photos you upload and the inventory data you enter remain yours — you give us permission to store and process them to run the service (card matching, listing preparation, label generation, public sticker pages for QR codes you print). Don't upload content you have no right to, and don't use Cardabra to do anything unlawful, to scrape or overload the service, or to mislead buyers.
5. Marketplace integrations
Listing to Trade Me, exporting to Shopify, eBay, or other platforms, and anything that happens on those platforms (fees, listing rules, disputes, payments) is governed by their terms, not ours. We prepare data on your instruction; the sale itself is between you, the marketplace, and your buyer.
6. Pricing
Cardabra is currently in beta and free to use. Trade Me listings are capped per week (the current cap is shown in the app). If paid plans are introduced later, they'll be described at the point of purchase and nothing will be charged without you signing up for it; any change of this kind comes with reasonable notice.
7. Service, as provided
Cardabra is provided "as is". We work to keep it fast, accurate, and available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service, and features may change or be withdrawn. To the maximum extent New Zealand law allows, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss — including money lost from acting on a price shown here — and our total liability for anything arising from the service is capped at the amount you've paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act where it applies.
8. Privacy
We store the minimum we need to run Cardabra: your email and sign-in identity, the photos you upload, and the inventory, listing, and settings data you create. Photos are stored with a cloud storage provider; market data processing happens on our own infrastructure. We don't sell your data and we don't share it with third parties except the service providers that host and deliver Cardabra, or where the law requires. Public sticker pages (the QR on printed labels) show only the card's identity, its printed price, and — if you've chosen to show it — its condition; never your costs, margins, or account details. To export or delete your account and data, email us.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as Cardabra evolves; material changes will be flagged on the site, and continuing to use Cardabra after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by New Zealand law. Questions: hello@cardabra.nz.
